Italian Lasagna
Try one of my most requested dishes! This recipe is truly traditional. I start with perfectly seasoned ground beef and Italian sausage sautéed with garlic and the Louisiana trinity. One secret to the delicious taste of the meat sauce is the browning of the tomato paste prior to adding it to the browned meat. Fresh basil and other ingredients are added; I then hand layer lasagna noodles, meat sauce, and a plethora of cheeses that include Mozzarella, Parmesan, Monterrey Jack and Romano. I bind all these fabulous flavors together with my homemade Béchamel. This classic is sure to knock your socks off! Lift your glasses in a toast to "That's Italian!"
